Conference Overview

  • I am more confident discussing sexuality issues with my older patients.
  • I have decreased my use of “hormone testing” to diagnose menopause.
  • I better understand the available management options for irregular bleeding in my perimenopausal patients.
  • I have more tools and resources I can recommend to patients with uncomfortable menopause symptoms.
  • I am emphasizing the importance of key lifestyle changes for healthy aging—fitness, weight management and nutrition.

These are just a few of the comments from the outcomes survey following the 2009 Conference, “Advances in Health Care for Women Over 40.” In fact, over 85% of the attendees reported making changes in their practice based on what they learned at the conference and 100% of those felt the changes had had a positive effect on the health and wellness of their patients. Now you have the opportunity to participate in this exciting meeting, one which will make a difference in your care of aging women.

Highlights of this Conference include:

  • Two outstanding Pre-Conferences, one focusing on “Skin and Vulvar Dermatology,” including an optional skin and vulvar biopsy training, and the other targeted for newcomers to menopause care.
  • A number of “Hot Topics,” and issues you deal with in your every day practice, addressed in a variety of teaching styles including didactic sessions, faculty panels, concurrent sessions, interactive case study discussions and hands-on skills trainings.
  • Access to leaders in the field of menopause management who will translate the most recent evidence into practical, clinical advice for managing your patients.
  • The Online CE Library, where you can listen to sessions you didn’t attend, earn additional CE for a nominal fee, and reference important details presented at the conference.
  • The sparkling setting of La Jolla, a quaint village on the edge of the sea, where you can relax, feel pampered and enjoy the sites and sounds of sunny California.

Plan now to join your colleagues and the esteemed faculty for what is certain to be a very unique and engaging learning experience. See you there!
