Conference Overview

The hospitalized child presents a unique set of challenges that require a special set of skills of those involved in management of care. Key issues including the hand offs of care, recognizing early changes in condition that signal increased dysfunction, and establishing an effective working relationship with family members, colleagues and specialists must all be an integral part of daily care. Now in its 22nd year, the Pediatric Nursing: Care of the Hospitalized Child Conference will help you meet these challenges by addressing the science, technology, pharmacology and human factors which influence what we do. Meet and mingle with fellow pediatric clinicians who share your commitment to quality and value the difference you make to both healthcare in general and patient outcomes in particular. Then take your newly acquired knowledge back to your practice setting, enhance the care you provide and enjoy the satisfaction you’ll experience as you witness the difference you make.
