Conference Overview

Highlights and Benefits

During the past decade, we have witnessed profound changes in physical medicine & rehabilitation driven by advances in technology and research discoveries in the field of neuroscience. At the same time, challenges in healthcare reimbursement are creating changes in the ways we are able to address the rehabilitation of persons with SCI. New protocols, equipment and improved assessment techniques contribute to extended longevity for persons with SCI and our need to stay constantly updated. Now in its 18th year, Spinal Cord Injuries offers a multidisciplinary perspective and a nationally-recognized faculty to bring you the latest research and clinical best practice to ensure quality of life for survivors of this life altering condition. This educational opportunity will assist healthcare professionals in providing state-of-the-art care along the continuum for individuals with SCI.

Benefits of this Conference include:

  • Interactive sessions for advancing your skill competency.
  • Two Pre-Conferences for a comprehensive look at “Management of the Bariatric Person with SCI” and “Advances in Neurotechnology for Individual with SCI”.
  • 20 Concurrent Sessions to choose from to help you design a program to meet your specific needs.
  • Boston in the Spring, home to Harvard and the history that surrounds the birth of our nation.

This is your opportunity to network and take home information that you can use at work and share with your colleagues. Once you have reviewed the objectives and the exciting topics in this program, we know you will plan to attend this outstanding educational experience.
