Nurses and Nurse Practitioners
Preconference A or B: 14.1 ANCC/17.0 CA BRN contact hours
Main Conference: 16.6 ANCC/20.0 CA BRN contact hours

Contemporary Forums is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (As of January 1, 2007, ANCC’s contact hour = 60 minutes.) This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing and most professional organizations including the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.

Contemporary Forums is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #04516. This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing for license renewal. (1 contact hour = 50 minutes.)

The Certificate of Attendance will list both ANCC credit and California BRN credit. RN’s have the option of choosing which credit they will use for license renewal. Please check with your professional and certifying organizations regarding the acceptance of ANCC vs. California BRN credit.

Pharmacology Credit for Prescriptive Authority for Advanced Practice Nurses
