The Certificate of Attendance will list both ANCC credit and California BRN credit. RN’s have the option of choosing which credit they will use for license renewal. Many professional organizations and certifying agencies require ANCC credit. The Continuing Education Committee of the American College of Nurse-Midwives grants reciprocity status to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for Category 1 offerings, providing the program is relevant to nurse-midwifery.
