What You Will Learn


This program will enable you to better:

  • Describe new developments in the evaluation and treatment of common concerns related to women’s health, including PCOS, pelvic pain, abnormal pap test, vulvar lesions, mood disorders, abnormal breast findings, obesity, and sexuality issues.

  • Explore key preventive health priorities and screening recommendations for women.

  • Highlight important considerations when caring for women in menopause, including appropriate use of hormone therapy, screening and treatment for osteoporosis, and differentiating normal from abnormal on the pelvic exam.

  • Discuss appropriate contraceptive choices and prescribing regimens for women with chronic medical conditions and other challenges.

  • Participate in interactive learning with faculty and colleagues through case-based discussion and problem-solving.
