Join your colleagues for a clinical training on the newest method of birth control, IMPLANON™, an implantable, progesterone-only contraceptive. You will learn key clinical data about IMPLANON™ as well as important elements for patient counseling pre- and post-insertion. This session includes a hands-on training using specially designed model arms, and the insertion and removal procedures as well as implant localization will be reviewed. Ordering and billing information for IMPLANON™ will also be covered.
This session, which is sponsored by Organon USA Inc., a part of Schering-Plough, is not accredited for continuing education credit. The training is open to advanced practice clinicians with furnishing numbers or prescribing privileges in their state, and to physicians only. Those who have attended a previous IMPLANON™ training or are scheduled to participate in a training elsewhere may not register. Priority will be given to those who register for and attend the entire Main Conference. It is Organon’s policy to verify all clinicians’ practice, license and eligibility information in advance of the training. Organon will contact you directly if there is a problem regarding this process. Attendees are expected to attend the entire training. Certificates of attendance will not be issued to those who arrive late or leave early. The tuition fee will be used by Contemporary Forums to offset administrative expenses.
