- Utilize patient monitoring techniques to assess the impact and efficacy of drug treatment.
- Anticipate potential side effects, recognize adverse reactions and discuss their management.
- Demonstrate clinical application of the pharmacology content through case study discussion.
- Provide appropriate patient education regarding drug therapy for a given disease state.
- Discuss the pharmacology of herbs and supplements, including mechanisms of actions, side effects and indications and contraindications.
- Recognize the professional and legal aspects of prescribing and furnishing drugs.
