Environmental Exposures: Impact on the Health of Women
Mary Ann Faucher, CNM, PhD
Pregnant women, children, and other vulnerable populations are the most susceptible to environmental hazards. It is essential that women of reproductive age and mothers hear and heed messages about avoiding potentially toxic exposures during pregnancy and throughout their reproductive years. This thought-provoking presentation will review evidence related to adverse effects following maternal and fetal exposure to environmental toxins and provide practical advice for you to share with women about protecting themselves and their unborn children.
Plan to join your colleagues for a delicious lunch, networking opportunity and interesting discussion by Mary Ann Faucher, CNM, PhD, a practicing midwife and researcher on the implications of environmental exposures on women’s health. Dr. Faucher will share her insights on the essentials of educating your patients about the significance of environmental exposure risk.
Cost of the luncheon is $29 and you must submit payment when you register for the conference. CE credit will be awarded. No refunds after September 19. |
