Menopause … a time of transition and change which touches many aspects of women’s lives and health. As we sort through new data and clinical information related to primary care for women over 40, developing a solid, evidence-based approach to perimenopause and menopause is critical. This Preconference brings together an expert faculty to translate current research into practical clinical information on providing state-of-the-art care during this significant stage of a woman’s life.
This Preconference will enable you to: |
- Identify new developments in research and practice applicable to health care for women over 40.
- Examine current guidelines regarding the use of hormone therapy and alternative therapies for menopause symptom management.
- Describe new developments in assessment and treatment of common conditions in aging women, including decreased libido, osteoporosis, cardiovascular problems and others.
- Examine important medical-legal issues to consider when caring for aging women.
