Contemporary Forums is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (As of January 1, 2007, ANCC’s contact hour = 60 minutes.)
This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing and most professional organizations including the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Contemporary Forums is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #04516. This credit is accepted by all State Boards of Nursing for license renewal. (1 contact hour = 50 minutes.)
The Certificate of Attendance will list both ANCC credit and California BRN credit. RN’s have the option of choosing which credit they will use for license renewal.
Many professional organizations and certifying agencies require ANCC credit. Please check with your professional and certifying organizations regarding the acceptance of ANCC vs. California BRN credit.

Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This continuing medical education activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and is acceptable for up to 23 (Preconference - 6.75, Main Conference - 16.25) AAP Credits. These Credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts Category 1 CME approval from organizations accredited by the ACCME to grant Category 1 hours toward the Physician’s Recognition Award. PA’s may report up to the listed hours of credit.
